Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds

iPhone purchases

iPhone Plus subscriptions use Adapty and Apple's App Store. Apple's confirmation shows the current price, period, and eligible offer.

Manage or cancel your subscription with Apple. Cancel before renewal. Deleting the app or account does not cancel App Store billing. Access normally continues until the paid period ends, unless refunded or revoked.

Request an App Store refund from Apple. Apple determines eligibility under its policies and applicable law. Restore existing purchases from the in-app paywall.

Web purchases

Web checkout uses DOKU through Foundation. Review the exact price and access period before paying. A prepaid pass is charged immediately, has no automatic renewal, and does not include an App Store free trial.

For a pending payment, cancellation or refund question, contact hello@taleagain.app. Use the same account you purchased with and include the payment reference if available. Never send card credentials, private journal content or children's details. If you cannot confirm a payment, check the same payment again rather than buying twice.

Refund eligibility depends on the purchase, provider rules and applicable consumer law. This policy does not limit mandatory legal rights. Deleting your account does not itself submit a refund or cancel a pending DOKU invoice; contact support about that payment.

Android testing

Android store purchases use Adapty and Google Play when configured. Review the actual store offer. Manage or cancel with Google Play. Deleting the app or account does not cancel store renewal. Restore purchases in the app; refund requests follow Google Play's rules.

Current web pass checkout

Web passes currently use DOKU card checkout. Pay once for the displayed 30-day or 365-day access period. The payment link lasts 15 minutes and cannot be recovered into a new charge after verified closure. If a pending payment settles after account deletion, we attempt a full refund for that unfulfilled purchase; unsupported or unconfirmed refunds require operator review and are not reported as successful.
